Flowerpot Skatepark, Exeter

Exeter has always had a strong Skate and BMX scene. It has been heavily supported by their local shop ‘The Boarding House’. Since the 80’s they have been involved in building ramps and parks in the community. The re-vamping of the old Flowerpots Park is no exception.

The old wooden ramps and tarmac slabs have been replaced by new, smooth concrete. Whether it’s the bowl, starts, handrails, or ledges, there is a unique feature for everyone.

We love using coloured concrete to break up the usual dull grey seen in most parks. This aesthetic is also practical. Hinting at new lines, users can create their own rules for tricks.

With such an established scene comes a lot of raw talent and this new park should help Exeter bring up the next generation of BMX and Skateboard rippers!
